Porth Beach

32 vans braved what was forecast to be a bad weekend to enjoy our first rally at Porth Beach Newquay.

A new site for us but one I am sure we will visit again as we were made most welcome and the facilities were excellent.

The weather was not as bad as expected and we enjoyed two fairly good days - especially the Saturday when we all walked down to the beach to participate in the Sandcastle Competition.

The site is situated in a valley close to Newquay and easily accessible by bus to Newquay, Truro and Padstow.  It has stunning walks along the coastal path - here are a few examples - it could be anywhere on the Mediterranean.
