Thank you to all those people who filled in my mini cooking survey at our AGM Rally in October 2004. The article I wrote may be in our magazine at a future date. Here are some of the recipes you gave me. I hope you don't mind sharing them. It's always nice to pick up some new ideas.

Cube 1 tin of Corn Beef and layer with sliced onion and fry. Put on top of corn beef. Pour half pint of cheese sauce over onions and meat. Top with mashed potatoes, sprinkle with grated cheese and brown under grill.
(This freezes well)
Geordie Recipe for Pan Haggarty
Slice 1 tin of corn beef and layer with sliced onions and potatoes in a frying pan ? with a lid. Pour over half a pint of water with 2 beef oxo cubes and season. Cook on top of cooker ? takes about 25-30 minutes.
(Ingredients need not be weighed)
2 chicken breasts
1 large onion
1 red pepper (sliced)
4 oz mushrooms (sliced thinly)
small tin sweetcorn
1 heaped teaspoon whole grain mustard
1 heaped teaspoon red pesto
1 chicken oxo cube
4 oz lean bacon
Using skillet with a little oil, gently cook chicken breasts, bacon and onions for a few minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients. Put on tight fitting lid and cook gently on lowest heat for 20-30minutes, stirring occasionally. Add stock or water if too dry. Serve with Jacket Potato or rice.
Brush salmon steaks with olive oil. Put jacket potatoes in oven on high. For last ten minutes of their cooking time, put salmon in the oven to cook. Prepare salad with peppers, coleslaw and cress. Good with tartare sauce.
Cook bananas on the barbecue in their skins until they are black and fruit soft. Skin and serve with golden syrup and double cream (yum!).
